Code Your Future
Technology is changing the way people do things in every part of the world, and the sector continues to expand. What are schools doing to prepare the next generation for the future? Code your future is the titol of our project, framed within Exchange of Good Practices, 24 months long. We are 6 schools involved in. All schools teach robotics, or have Arduino or Scratch clubs ...We are therefore schools closely linked to training in coding and robotics.
Our main aims are:
*Integrating Robotic Coding activities into our current curriculas and making our students more interactive in the lessons
*Improving participants foreign language skills
*Developing the key competences of schools such as digital skills, entrepreneurship, innovation, creativity, etc. through the usage of ICT
*Improving the professional skills of our teachers
*Making our students reach the quality education which is also one of the main objective of ET 2020
*Preparing our students for future jobs which have been shaped in accordance with the needs of the Technology Age
*Helping students having positive attitude towards computational, analytical, inquairy based thinking through STEAM,Lego,Robotic coding activities
*Saving them from the virtual world that they have been imprisoned as passive consumers to the real active producers through the coding activities(eg.creating their own games, apps, robots etc)
*Increasing our participants competitiveness in a hostile economical climate by integrating robotic coding activities into teaching and learning activities
*Contributing to the creation and implementation of common curriculas used in EU countries through our project activities
*Supplyig our participants the vision of being active EU citizen, studying and working abroad, becoming a World Citizen, creating a Big World Culture
To reach these aims we have planned 6 LTTs: 1 staff meeting (2 teachers) and 5 short pupils exchanges (in each mobility there will be 5 students from each partner country, including the host country, and a total of at least 25 students will participate in each mobility + 2 teachers). LTT´s will be:
* Spain: Computational thinking and Scratch integration into current curriculas and OER resources.
*Turkey Antalya: Electronics and Arduino
* Lithuania:Vector Graphics Program and Windows Applications
* Estonia: Presentation of Arduino projects and workshops
* Belgium:Laser Cutter, 3D Desing, LOGO and PLC
* Turkey: LEGO Education EV3
Through the LTTs,students and teachers will get some trainings, have some workshops, work, challanges, develop projects related to robotic coding.Besides, cultural sharings and the exchange of good practices will be possible among the partners. Our project will be implemented on eTwinning simultaneously. All the preparation before the mobilites and and dissemination activities after the mobilites will be realized on eTwinning through webinars, forum chats, twinspace and group sharings, ativities etc.
The results of the project will be evaluated through the pre, interm and post tests. The dissemination activities will be done from the beginning to the end of the project through newsbulletins on press and TV,posters, brochures, banners, social network, blog, website and twinspace sharings etc.
In addition to them the results and outputs of the project will be disseminated and sustained through:
*Robotic coding classes,workshops
*OER resources and project e-book,online training courses, webinars,Project short films, etc.
*Project days: exhibitions in local, national and international level.
*Project corners
*Robotic coding competitions ( national and international)
*Codeorg and Scratch virtual classes,Game Lab,App Lab,Virtual Library,STEAM Lab on the website
*A guide for efficient project management and implementation
Our participants will have:
*21st.century skills, project based teaching and learning
*The vision of being productive and EU citizenship
*Digital,computational thinking,cooperative,social,collaborative skills
*EU educational and project network
*Get awareness about international framework on robotic coding
*Full access to European youth knowledge etc.
Pupils and teachers will take a step in Robotic coding which is not only vital for the involved schools but also for the future of the countries in a large scale. Participants will learn that ROBOTIC CODING shapes future as the language of future.Moving from this motto we will train our future generations perfect.
